Caton Farm Road Reconstruction

HEI was selected by the Will County Division of Transportation to provide preliminary engineering and construction oversight services for the reconstruction of Caton Farm Road from IL Rte. 59 to the Will/Kendall County Line.

This project was initiated to accommodate economic development, increase capacity, and improve safety. The improvement consisted of reconstruction and expansion of the existing two-lane rural roadway to a five-lane urban roadway. This included traffic signal improvements, construction of a new multi-use path, and widening of the railroad crossing including crossing gates for bicyclists and pedestrians. HEI completed the project report, right of way plans, roadway plans, specifications, and estimates.
