Calley attended Michigan State University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Environmental Engineering, where she did research on the Flint Water Crisis under some of the best environmental engineering professors in the Midwest.

After graduating, she started with Hutchison Engineering, Inc. in the summer of 2022. Her primary responsibilities include completing Phase I reports and environmental, biological, and cultural studies for Hutchison Engineering’s Shorewood office.
